Mercedes-Benz India inaugurates new dealership in Coimbatore

Mercedes-Benz India today inaugurated its new, state-of-the-art 3S facility in the Manchester of South India, Coimbatore. Named Sundaram Motors Coimbatore, Mercedes-Benz’s new dealership is located in the heart of the city on Mettupalayam Road. The new facility was inaugurated by Mr. Eberhard Kern, Managing Director and CEO, Mercedes-Benz India and Mr. Sharath Vijayaraghavan, Executive Director, Sundaram Motors.

The new facility has been set up by by Sundaram Motors within a period of twelve months and can display nine cars. The facility has a Mercedes café, Valet Parking, accessories boutique and a driver’s lounge as well. Fifteen trained sales personnel have been employed to assist the customers.

The service center at Sundaram Motors Coimbatore is spread over a 12,500 sq. ft. and employs thirty five highly skilled personnel. With ten productive bays and a capacity of servicing five cars a day this enables round the clock customer support. The workshop is equipped to undertake general repairs, accident jobs, body paint, spares and maintenance work.
The inauguration of Sundaram Motors Coimbatore is part of Mercedes-Benz India’s strategy to leverage the substantial demand of luxury car in the city and neighboring markets. With the inauguration of the 3S facility in Coimbatore, Mercedes-Benz India continues to add value to its growing customer base providing the most comprehensive and qualitative network reach by any luxury car maker in India, spread across 32 cities and 57 outlets.
