The City Bus has superior air suspension technology which lends it good stability and ride comfort. In terms of interior comfort, the bus has multiple charging points, destination board, high cushioning and a powerful air conditioner. The unique low entry design of the City bus ensures that passengers with restricted mobility can get onboard without difficulty. As far as safety goes, the Mercedes-Benz city bus is the first bus to be certified with bus body code certification in India.
Daily these buses will pick up the employees from various parts of the Pune city, bringing them to work at Chakan where Mercedes-Benz India is headquartered and drop them back at home in the evening.
