The hunt for the nation’s safest young driver has intensified as the competition enters its 2nd phase.
With a staggering figure of close to 50,000 registrations in Phase 1, the enthusiasm to become the country’s youngest safe driver is growing!
Phase 2 is a physical on ground evaluation of the shortlisted contestant’s physical driving skills. The Skill Test will take place at the various Maruti Driving Schools (MDS) spread across 42 major cities of the country. The selected contestants can take up their skill test at any of the Maruti Driving School in their region as per the schedule allocated by the organizers.
They will be judged by the instructors on the basis of 20 parameters like their control on the steering wheel, observing road regulations, parking skills, judgement, use of speed, etc. The responses for Phase 2 has been phenomenal so far with around 550 registrations in Delhi/NCR,353 in Mumbai,255 in Bangalore,159 in Pune, 135 in Chennai and 103 in Cochin. Based on candidates’ performance in the skill test at the Maruti Driving School, 25 finalists will be identified for the 3rd round.
