We were easily among the first one’s to report when the Maruti Suzuki Swift’s interior pictures (clicked in India) hit the cyberspace. Now, another set of images have hit the cyberspace in which the car can be seen standing in Maruti’s own stockyard. This confirms that Maruti has already commenced the production of the facelifted model and will be launching the car soon in the festive season.
As can be seen the images, the Swift facelift gets Daytime Running Lights. Also, the lower air dam is now a tad larger in size and the car also gets new alloy wheels. The exterior changes are limited to these, but the car will get a few more bells and whistles with the facelift. The international model gets rear disc brakes which might be offered on the India-spec model too.
The Maruti Suzuki Swift facelift gets the following features :
- New upholstery
- Auto Up feature for driver side Power Window
- Power folding ORVM’s
- Auto headlamps
- Cruise control
- Push Button start
- Bluetooth connectivity
Mechanically, the Swift facelift will be identical to the model it replaces and will continue to be powered by the same 1.2 liter petrol and 1.3 liter diesel mills. Maruti Suzuki may tweak the engines for more fuel efficiency.
