Maruti Suzuki is readying a minor refresh to its hot selling Swift hatchback. The facelifted Swift was recently spotted in a stockyard. Now, a report on ET says that Maruti Suzuki will be launching the Swift facelift on September 16 with an automatic tyranny.
The Maruti Suzuki Swift facelift will come equipped with LED Daytime Running Lights. Also, the lower air dam on the car is now a tad larger in size. The facelifted model also gets new alloy wheels. The exterior changes are limited to these, but the car will get a few more bells and whistles with the facelift. The international model gets rear disc brakes which might make their way into the India-spec model too.
The Maruti Suzuki Swift facelift gets the following features :
New upholstery
Auto Up feature for driver side Power Window
Power folding ORVM’s
Auto headlamps
Cruise control
Push Button start
Bluetooth connectivity
The Swift facelift will be identical mechanically to the model it replaces. The 1.2 liter petrol and the 1.3 liter diesel mill will be continued to be on offer. The automatic transmission will be available with the petrol variant and is most likely to be the same unit found on the Dezire automatic.
