Importance of Steering Tie Rod

The Steering Tie Rod is an important component of the vehicle’s suspension. The Tie Rod helps to steer and track the vehicle when the steering is in the centre position. However, this part is usually located in the front section of the vehicle.

The Tie Rods are connected to the steering rack and pinion. This means that the tie rods will respond to the position of the steering wheel and move the vehicle’s direction. If the tie rods are faulty, then it can cause the misalignment of the wheels of the car.
