Maruti Suzuki April 2010 sales report!

Maruti Suzuki, India’s largest car manufacturer has been on the headlines since quite a long time now, especially after the launch of its 2010 Wagon R. the market leader managed to sell a total of 93,058 vehicles in the month of April 2010 which is a growth of 29.7% as compared to last year. Out of the total units sold, 13,024 units have been exported. The firm had sold a total of 71,748 units in April 2009.

The sales of the A2 and A3 segments of the firm grew by 20.5% and 41.4% respectively in the month of April 2010. The A2 segment includes cars like the Alto, Wagon-R, Estilo, Swift, A-Star and Ritz while the A3 segment includes cars like SX4 and DZire. The firm’s C segment which includes the Omni, Versa and Eeco registered a growth 37.9% with the sales of 10,654 units as compared to last year’s 7,724 units.
