Maruti to open seperate dealerships for premium models

Upcoming cars 2015 Maruti S-Cross 1

With an aim to double their volumes to two million cars in the next five years, the country’s largest car maker, Maruti Suzuki will open new dealerships that will only play host to the premium models coming out of their line-up. After failed attempts in the form of the Kizashi sedan and the Grand Vitara, Maruti has lined up a slew of premium products it will launch in the coming months. In order to distinguish and offer a different “Touch & Feel” experience for buyers of these cars, around 30-35 of such premium dealerships will sprout in metros like Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai  and the likes within the next one year.

Their upcoming premium product line-up includes the S-Cross crossover, a YRA premium hatchback that will, pricing wise, be positioned above the Swift and will compete with the likes of the i20 and the Polo. The existing Ciaz, their upcoming sub compact SUV and any future products which are priced above the million rupee mark, will be sold through these premium outlets. Time to say goodbye then, to ill fitting ties, loosely hung shirts and a belt buckle that likes to be stationed near the hips.
