Indian largest car manufacturer by numbers, Maruti Suzuki, would be extending the list of variants offered in Ciaz as the company plans to introduce the Z+ variant early next year. Essentially, Ciaz Z+ would get all the options that are available in Z(O) along with a touchscreen Smartplay infotainment system.
The reason for providing the option of the touchscreen infotainment system is to compete with its rivals, especially the Honda City. Expect the Ciaz Z+ to be nearly 30,000-40,000 dearer than the Z(O).
Currently, the top trim of the Ciaz line up is the Z(O) which comes with an options package on the Z trim. It receives additions like 16-inch alloys, full leather upholstery and chrome differentiation on the outside.
Addition of an extra variant for an touchscreen infotainment system, instead of just adding to the list options, would mark the exclusivity of the top trim Ciaz.
