Mahindra and Mahindra launched a new version of its multi- utility vehicle Xylo with an advanced engine today in the capital and has christened the MPV as- Xylo D2.
The new Xylo will come with 2.5 litre an MDi CRDe engine which will churn out 95 bhp of power and a max torque of 215 Nm, while giving a mileage of 13 kms to a litre. The new variant has a five speed transmission and also complies with the current BS III emission norms. The new variant is priced at Rs. 6.30 lakh (ex- showroom Delhi.) Mr. Vivek Nayer, Senior Vice President, Marketing, M&M said, ‘The Xylo D2’s MDi CRDe engine offers…greater fuel efficiency, lower maintenance and spare parts cost and decreased emissions.’
The new Mahindra Xylo will be available in three colours- Gold Shimmer, Mist Silver and Fiery Black. The new Xylo D2 will be on display at the upcoming Auto Expo show in January, 2010.
