Mahindra XUV700 Gets Rejigged Features

Mahindra has revised the features of the XUV700 variants. The company has modified the brochure of XUV700 by updating the features, where some features are also seen missing. The car has recently crossed 1.5 lakh bookings and the waiting period is now more than a year. The Mahindra XUV700 is the second Mahindra to get Global NCAP’s Safer Choice award by scoring 5 stars in adult occupant protection and 4-star for child occupant protection.

The missing features of the entry-level MX variant include the rear parking sensor, height-adjustable driver seat, follow-me-home headlights, and rear spoiler. While the rear wiper, defogger, and selective unlock for the door and boot lid have been deleted from the AX3 variant of this SUV. the LED sequential turn indicator is also missing from the AX5 and AX7 variants of the XUV700. While the AX7L manual trim misses out on Adaptive cruise control capabilities, this variant comes with standard cruise control. The added new features of AX7 include cruise control and LED sequential turn indicator. The AX7L AT trim now comes with adaptive cruise control that gets stop and go capabilities.

The interior of XUV700 comes equipped with two 10.25 HD screens for the infotainment system and instrument cluster, panoramic sunroof, electrically adjustable seats with memory function, air purifier, wireless charging, wireless smartphone connectivity, dual-zone climate control, AdrenoX infotainment system with 60+ connected car features, 360-degree camera with blind view monitor, electronic parking brake, 12 speakers 3D sound system by Sony, smart door handles and electronic parking brake.

While the XUV700 offers two engine choices and both are available in a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed automatic gearbox. The first engine is a 2-liter 4-cylinder turbocharged Mstallion petrol engine which belts out 200 hp and 380 nm of torque. The next engine is the 2.2-liter 4-cylinder Mhawk diesel engine. The diesel engine gets two states of tune. The first is 155 hp and 360 nm of torque for lower variants. The higher state of tune is 185 hp and 420 nm of torque for higher variants. The diesel automatic variant gets a higher torque output of 450nm.
