It seems like M&M is not satisfied with record-shattering sales of the Mahindra XUV500. The XUV500, which goes on sale for a price of INR 11.7 lakhs to 14.5 lakhs, is available at all Mahindra dealers across India and is available in both 2WD and 4WD guises. So far, the Mahindra XUV 500 was available in as many as six exterior color options– Volcano Black, Satin White, Moondust Silver, Tuscan Red, Opulent Purple and Dolphin Grey.
Now, in what seems to be a bid to make the SUV even more appealing to a certain section of car buying lot, the makers of the Mahindra XUV500 have announced a new color option for the high selling car. Such is the demand for the XUV500 that it became the fastest selling SUV in the Indian car market by registering a sales figure of more than 50,000 in a matter of merely 16 months. The demand for the XUV continues to be strong and the popular SUV, which is manufactured at Mahindra’s Chakan plant near Pune, is being produced at plant’s full capacity and still commands a pretty long waiting period.
The new color option, the Artic Blue, makes the butch SUV look even cooler and the new color might just help M&M by bringing in some more buyers.
