The upcoming Mahindra TUV300 has been spied undisguised before its September 10 launch. The “T” in the nomenclature (read double O), represents “Tough”, and highlights the “tough and stylish SUV design”. Codenamed the U301, this will be Mahindra’s new sub-4 meter, compact SUV, and will take on the likes of Ford’s Ecosport.

The TUV300 is based on an all-new platform, while Mahindra says that the the overall design has been inspired by a battle tank. The front end is characterized by a high front nose with an evolved version of Mahindra’s signature toothy grille, a clamshell bonnet, newly designed headlamps and a front bumper with a large, rectangular air dam flanked by two square shaped fog lamps.

  1. Before couple of years, I was expecting a car like wagon r with extended bonnett and 7 seater.TUV300 looks like a same with giving Mahendra's suv touch feeling. It's according to my imagine,However company declaration and comparison to Battle tank.It is nothing like that.Infact all SUV car look like little bit battle tank.So It is just advertisements of Mahendra's Marketing dept..However “chittah” ground is given to front side of bonnet. But my brother, it is extended verson of wagono r with 7 seater and extended bonnett.Wagon r got highly success on road. so similarly It will also successful on road.Congratulation Mahendra I will definitely buy this car on launching.
