While speculations have been abounding that the 2014 Scorpio will continue to be powered by the same 2.2 liter four cylinder turbocharged mHawk diesel engine that powers the current car, our friends at Bosch have told us that Mahindra is making changes to this motor, for a better performance. Currently, this motor has a max power of 120 bhp and peak torque of 290 Nm. Transmission options too will be carried over from the current car, which would mean that we’ll get a four speed automatic and a five speed manual gearbox.
