The upcoming Mahindra Mojo is going under some serious, rigorous testing in the last phase of its trial runs before the official launch. Motoring enthusiast Sarath Shenoy recently got his hands on the upcoming Mojo as he rode the motorcycle far away from the tarmac, on the roads less explored. Despite the broken, uneven terrain, the Mojo seems to hold together quite well. Shenoy also clicked some really good images that capture the Mojo tackling muddy roads and crossing some rather challenging streams.
While we are yet to get our hands on the Mojo, a recent YouTube video suggested that the suspension on this upcoming Mahindra soaks in the uneven surfaces quite efficiently. As another update about the arrival of the new Mojo, Dr Pawan Goenka, Executive Director and President of the automotive and farm equipment sector at Mahindra & Mahindra confirmed the India launch in the month of September. An AutoCar Professional article quotes Dr Goenka, speaking to media at the sidelines of the SIAM annual convention, saying, “We will have the Mojo brand, which will not bring volumes for us. It will focus more on image and performance. We are launching it this month (September) and a long wait will come to an end.”
In fact, a few other reports suggest that certain Mahindra dealers may already have begun the booking process for the Mojo and you can reserve one for yourselves at a token amount of Rs 10,000.
