If the latest speculation is to be believed, the ‘once highly anticipated’ Mahindra Mojo 300 launch will take place in June. This revelation of sorts comes from Auto.NDTV.com. The Mahindra Mojo 300 was showcased it its latest avatar at the Auto Expo 2014 and we’ve already caught the upcoming bike testing on a couple of occasions since then.

Powering the new Mahindra Mojo 300 is a 300cc, single cylinder, fuel injected motor that could have a max power of around 33 PS. It may be noted that unlike the Mojo prototype that was shown at 2012 Auto Expo, the latest model gets a new engine that has been completely developed by Mahindra Two Wheelers. Suspension duties on the upcoming Mahindra Mojo 300 are courtesy upside down telescopic forks up front and a monoshock at the rear. Braking comes from disc brakes on both wheels and the bike could come with soft compound tires.

The Mahindra Mojo 300 launch event is really taking its own sweet time to take place and from the reactions by most bike aficionados we know of, the buzz surrounding the Mahindra Mojo 300 launch has now died down. It would now be interesting to see if Mahindra Two Wheelers would be successful in  re-capturing the imagination of Indian bike buyers.

What do you feel about the upcoming Mahindra Mojo 300? Do you think it is too late for Mahindra Two Wheelers to now come up with the Mojo? Do let us know about your feelings by penning them down in the comments section below.
