Team-BHP member iamahunter is at it again. After digitally modifying both the TUV300 and the KUV100, he’s now given the KUV100 a completely new front fascia. The render does away with the KUV100’s slim and toothy grille; replaces it with a fatter grille starring honeycomb inserts painted in silver. The busy front bumper of the original vehicle has been tidied up with a large, continuous air dam highlighted with a couple of floating, horn like elements. The lower half of the front bumper now features a large scuff plate finished in gun-metal grey flanked by a couple of tiny fog lamps.

Other modifications include a blacked out roof and Mahindra lettering on the bonnet. The Mahindra KUV100 will be launched in India on January 15, 2016, while bookings have already commenced for a token amount of INR 10,000.

The KUV100 will be powered by two fresh engines from Mahindra’s new mFalcon family – a 1.2-litre, dual VVT petrol motor dubbed the mFalcon80, good for 82 bhp @ 5500 rom and 114 Nm of torque available between 3500-3600 rpm, along with a 1.2-litre, turbo-charged diesel motor called the mFalcon75, which will develop 77 bhp @ 3750 rpm and 190 Nm of torque available between 1750-2250 rpm. Both will be starpped to 5-speed manual transmissions.
