We have been reporting in detail about the eagerly awaited Ford EcoSport that has been showcased at Select City Walk Attrium, Saket.
The Ford EcoSport is close to being launched in India and will come to us with three engine options- a Naturally Aspirated 1.5 litres petrol engine, a turbocharged 1.5 litres diesel engine and the much publicized 1.0 litre Ford EcoBoost turbocharged petrol motor.
The EcoSport will also come with several first in class features and it is being said that the car might be launched at a starting price of INR 6 lakhs.
Ford India is betting big on the new Comapct SUV and has launched a unique promotional campaign for the EcoSport. The campaign will see several participants from around the country battling it out with each other to win a chance to drive home a new EcoSport.
Ford India is also organizing several public events as a part of this campaign. One of the most majestic of these events is likely to be held at Select City Mall in Saket today.
For the first time in India, Cologne Domino Team will unveil the state of the art in-car smart technology, SYNC and the award winning 1.0L EcoBoost Engine with more than 120,000 dominoes built in a dramatic installation. CDT and Ford India will be seen attempting to make it to Limca Book of Records through today’s event.
Started in 2005 with just 300 dominoes, the CDT has showcased several breakthrough performances with 177,414 dominoes toppling in over 7 minutes being their best so far.
RJ Mantra will be the host for the EcoSport Urban Discoveries pre-launch campaign.
