Kawasaki will extend its Indian motorcycle portfolio with the introduction of the Z250 and ER-6n at an event in Wakdewadi, Pune. The Kawasaki Z250 would be the new entry level motorcycle from the manufacturer for the Indian market. The Z250 is a toned down version of Z800. It can also be called the naked version of the Kawasaki Ninja 250R as it is powered by the same 249cc, four-stroke, liquid-cooled and parallel twin-cylinder engine that puts out 32PS of power and 21Nm of torque.
The Z250 also borrows some bits and pieces from the Ninja 300. The primarily tail section, alloy wheels, instrument console are identical to the Ninja 300.
