Lexus, the luxury vehicle division of Japanese automobile manufacturer Toyota has been in the news time and again. Less than a week ago, a sports coupe from the luxury brand, the RC-F, made its way into the country as a private import. Yesterday, we told you about a few units of the RX450h Hybrid that were spied in India ahead of their impending launch.

While Toyota is reported to launch the first Lexus model in India during March 2017, a new report reveals more details of the upcoming luxury brand in the country. If reports are to be believed, bookings for the Lexus range of models will begin as early as November while the launch, as we mentioned earlier, will take place next year.
Likely to be known as ‘Lexus Boutiques’, the dealerships would reportedly feature models such as the RX450h, ES300h and the LX450d/LX570. Speaking of dealerships, the brand would begin its operations in the country with outlets in Delhi and Mumbai with the latter being the first dealership.

The ‘Lexus Boutique’ in Mumbai, according to sources, would be located at the Taj Santacruz hotel, near the domestic terminal of the Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport (CSIA).
