The new Octavia is available for a starting price of Rs. 1,395,000 for 1.4 TSI Active (ex-showroom New Delhi).
It may be noted that the fifth gen Octavia, which was the first Skoda car to come to India, played a huge role in making the Indian subsidiary of the Czech automaker the success story it is today. Skoda India says that it has now brought the legend back with the launch of the seventh gen Octy in the country.
The new Octavia boasts of segment leading space, new age design and several high-end features that are available only in cars from a segment above. The Press Release from Skoda reads: “The new generation Octavia is going to be superior in terms of quality, technology, efficiency and affinity in the segment it operates. It is truly the ‘Heart of the brand’ sitting majestically in a ‘class of its own’.”

Skoda has also launched a comprehensive ownership package for the new Octavia which includes ŠKODA’s Road Side Assistance; Service & Maintenance Packages; and an Extended Warranty programme. The customers can also opt for a service cost calculator which has been developed to ensure that they have an idea about their service bill beforehand.
This initiative provides the customer with an estimate of the service cost, thereby reducing the ambiguity on the service billing. With the online service appointment option and a Skoda Service APP for Android and iOS which enables a customer to search for authorized service centre in any part of the country and contact them with a single click; Škoda has provided a complete array of customer care services to support the launch of the new Octavia.
