Hyundai Sante Fe New Model Launch in India

The latest gen 2013 Hyundai Santa Fe has been busy testing in India since at least some months now and the car has once again been spotted in the country. The car was spotted on NH-4 near Hyundai plant.

It is highly likely that the new Hyundai Santa Fe would be the first new-car launch by the Indian subsidiary of the Korean auto giant in 2014. We expect the car to be unveiled at the 2014 Indian Auto Expo in February next year.

The 2013 Santa Fe is being sold with two petrol engine options in most international markets. These include a 2 Litre turbocharged and a 2.4 Litre naturally aspirated. The car is also available in some markets with a 2.2 litre oil burner and this is the very engine that will come to us. All the motors are mated to a 6 speed auto ‘box.

The new Santa Fe sports Hyundai’s Storm Edge design language. The Storm Edge is the successor of the Fluidic design language. The styling on the latest Hyundai cars is definitely a far cry from the older Hyundais, whose styling can be best described as insipid. The Storm Edge is predecessor to the Fluidic Precision and we have nothing but great things to say about the way car designs have evolved at Hyundai.

On the inside, the car boasts of a very stylish dashboard design and rich materials can be found in plenty. The interiors come loaded with gizmos and seem to be quite cosseting.

The Santa Fe would come to us via CKD route. Stay tuned to Motoroids for more updates on the upcoming 2013 Hyundai Santa Fe India launch.
