The Lamborghini Super Trofeo race series is all set to welcome Gallardo’s race track replacement as the company released a teaser video of its new track bred machine, the Huracan Super Trofeo. This new Super Trofeo variant is likely to see the sunshine on August 15. The Lamborghini Huracan Super Trofeo will participate in the Blancpain Super Trofeo series in 2015.

The Lamborghini Huracan LP 610-4 Super Trofeo will be powered by a 5.2-litre naturally aspirated V10 engine that would produce out 610 PS (602 bhp) of power. Power will be transmitted to all the four wheels. The Huracan LP 610-4 Super Trofeo will be built using a lighter and more aerodynamic body. Interiors would be stripped down to reduce weight further and to add better power to weight ratio. This should help the car go fast around the corners.

The wider body is expected to be accompanied by a huge rear wing and diffuser. Other components will comprise of vented fenders, carbon fibre front splitter and aerodynamic side skirts.

The company has announced the Huracan Super Trofeo will be unveiled on August 15 at The Quail in Monterey, California. Till then check out the teaser video of the Lamborghini Huracan Super Trofeo below.
