Lamborghini India has launched the new Lamborghini Gallardo LP 550-2 India Limited Edition. The exclusive-to-India car comes draped in tricolor paint shades.
The newly launched Gallardo LP 550-2 India Limited Edition is a part of the carmaker’s 50th anniversary celebrations and the production of the LP 550-2 India Limited Edition is limited to merely six units with one already being booked in advance..
The new car offers as many as three color options to choose from – Arancio Borealis (Pearl Orange), Bianco Monocerus (White) and Verde Ithaca (Pearl Green). All the three colours relate with the Indian flag. Only two cars will come painted in the same shade. The car also gets an Indian tricolor strip running across the length of the car, on the top. The driver side quarter glass gets “India Serie Speciale” badge.
On the inside, black is the dominant shade, with the driver’s seat coming with Verde Ulysse (Green) stitching, passenger seats getting Arancio Leonis (orange) stitching and the doors boasting of Bianco Polar (white) stitching.
Power continues to be derived from the much talked about 5.2 litre V10 petrol engine that has a max power output of 550 hp. Transmitting the power to rear wheels is a 6-speed manual ‘box. Lambo’s robotized sequential e gear system is available as an option.
The LP 550-2 India Limited Edition can hit 100 kmph from standstill in merely 3.9 seconds and has a top whack of 320 kmph.
The new Lamborghini Gallardo LP 550-2 India Limited Edition goes on sale for an eye watering price of INR 3.06 crores (ex-showroom Maharashtra).
