KTM to show the 690 & 990 Dukes at Auto Expo 2010

Bajaj may have hinted that they don’t wish to participate in this year’s Auto Expo. However, that does not mean that their sister brands KTM and Kawasaki would stay out too. We are expecting a full blown orange exhibit in Pragati Maidan showcasing the brand’s radical plans for the upcoming years.

To start off, there will be the latest editions of the 690 and 990 Dukes which are very close to hitting the Indian showrooms now. As per our reports, Bajaj-KTM have been in the final stages of homologation for the past couple of months. We are expecting the 690 to go on sale first followed by the 990. But apart from these big chested motards, Bajaj-KTM will also showcase the puny yet radical 125cc motorcycles which have been developed in India and first showcased at the EICMA. The 125cc production model is expected to be launched in Q4 2010 / Q1 2011. A clearer picture at Auto Expo 2010…
