The Hungarian motorbike company Keeway has launched the retro classic Keeway SR125. The SR125 would be Keeway’s 7th motorcycle launched in a span of 5 months in the Indian market. The Motorcycle will start at a price of Rs 1,19,000 ex-showroom price and is available in 3 colours- Glossy Black, Glossy Red, and Glossy White. The Keeway SR125 will be available for test rides at authorized Benelli | Keeway dealerships from Mid October 2022. Its deliveries are set to start from the last week of October. The bookings have commenced and the customers can book the motorcycles by visiting their official website or any Keeway dealership paying a token amount of Rs 1,000.
The Keeway SR125 brings back the Old School Retro Design with simple “relax” vibe. It is a 120 kg light motorcycle with a simple, clean and timeless Design. The SR125 is powered by a single cylinder, 4-stroke, 2 valve, air-cooled, SOHC engine with a displacement of 125 cc and with EFI which delivers 9.7 bhp of power at 9000 rpm and 8.2 Nm of torque at 7500 rpm. A Combi-Braking system with a equilizer combined with 300 mm discs in the front and 210 mm discs in the back supports the strong braking system.
The 5-speed transmission with chain drive system comes with tubeless tires and spoke wheels. It has a wide wheelbase of 1285 mm, a ground clearance of 160 mm and a seat height of 780 mm. The motorcycle also features headlights with LED DRLs, 14.5 litre fuel capacity, Colour digital display, Side stand with built in engine cut off switch, Hazard Switch, 5-Step adjustable suspension and a Low maintenance Gel battery making it one of the most affordable 125 cc motorcycle considering all its features and its looks.
