The Defender Journey is all set to be commenced from June to August of 2023.
Land Rover Defender Journey: Addition of the New Adventures
The Defender brand has added a slew of new adventures in the Defender Journey program. Below is the addition of new programs:
Ladakh Himalayan Experience: The Ladakh Himalayan Experience is one of the first routes of the Defender Journey program. This captivating Journey program will commence from Shimla and will end at Leh. It allows enthusiasts to rediscover a land brimming with the enigmatic wonders of the Himalayan region.
Zanskar Himalayan Experience: The Zanskar Himalayan Experience is another route of the Defender Journey program. This captivating Journey program comprises a duration of one week between Leh and Srinagar. Moreover, it will allow the enthusiasts to explore the valleys, mountains, and deserts of the Himalayas.
Spiti Himalayan Experience: The Spiti Himalayan Experience is a new addition to the Defender Journey program. This route is an 8-day journey between Shimla and Kaza. With this route, enthusiasts will discover the hamlets, landscapes, age-old monasteries, and lakes of the high-altitude part of Himachal Pradesh.

About Land Rover Defender
The New Defender is available in three distinct body designs (90, 110, 130). The Defender provides ample space for up to eight passengers to travel with utmost comfort. The suspension setup of Defender ensures superior comfort on any road surface while cruising on streets or terrains. No matter the conditions, long journeys are effortlessly accomplished, thanks to its remarkable capabilities. The Defender is equipped with an advanced All-Wheel Drive system optimizing both on-road performance and fuel efficiency. The All-Wheel Drive system enhances the capabilities of the Land Rover Defender.
The Land Rover Defender has undergone more than 62,000 tests for ensuring optimum performance and reliability. Furthermore, the body and the chassis have been designed for withstanding Land Rover’s Extreme Event Test procedure. This test comprises repeated and sustained impacts which are tougher than the tests of normal standards for SUVs and passenger cars. The Defender has a maximum payload of up to 900 kg and a static roof load of up to 300 kg. Furthermore, the capabilities of the SUV are accentuated by a dynamic roof load of 168 kg, a towing capacity of 3,720 kg, and a wading depth of up to 900 mm.
