Jeep recently launched the Compass Trailhawk which has received an overwhelming response according to the American carmaker. The waiting period for the Compass Trailhawk has already grown to four months. The price of the Compass has also been raised by around ₹25,000 across all variants. Now, Jeep has launched the Compass Night Eagle trim at ₹21.95 lakh after seeing the market response. Let’s take a look at what’s new:
Jeep Compass Night Eagle: What’s new
The Compass night eagle trim gets an all-black theme for the exterior and interiors. The SUV gets a gloss black finish for the grille, grille rings, 18-inch alloy wheels, roof rail, ORVMs, and fog lamp bezels. The interiors get a piano black theme accompanied by black cloth/vinyl seats with light tungsten stitching and black vinyl inserts for the door trim and the instrument panel. The Compass Night Eagle is based on the Limited trim.
It comes with features such as a 10.1-inch infotainment system, a 7-inch instrument cluster, dual-zone automatic climate control, wireless charging, electrically folding mirrors, LED headlights and taillights, a reverse parking camera, a panoramic sunroof, an auto-dimming IRVM, cruise control, a powered liftgate, and a powered driver seat with memory settings. The Compass Night Eagle trim is available with the 2-liter diesel engine that produces 170hp and 350nm of torque.
The transmission option includes a 6-speed manual transmission. The other powertrain is a 1.4-liter turbo-petrol engine that dishes out 161hp and 250nm of torque. It comes mated to a 7-speed DCT. The Compass Night Eagle comes with safety features such as Hill Start Assist, 6 airbags, All-Speed Traction Control System (TCS), Electronic Stability Control (ESC), and Electronic Parking Brake with auto-hold.
