Jaguar Land Rover India records a growth of 45% in first quarter of 2016

Jaguar Land Rover India announced a growth of 45 percent for the first quarter (Jan-Mar 2016) period, crossing 1,000 units, on the back of high demand for sales of its recently launched models such as the Jaguar XE and Discovery Sport.

Speaking on the occasion, Rohit Suri, President, Jaguar Land Rover India, said that the Jaguar and Land Rover brands are now firmly established in India. The Jaguar XE, which they introduced in the Indian market in February 2016 in petrol derivatives, has received a good response.

The company’s portfolio for  the Jaguar range in India includes the F–Type (starting at INR 1.25 crores), the XF (starting at INR 47.7 Lakhs), the XJ (starting at INR 99.99 Lakhs) and the XE (starting at INR 39.90 Lakhs). The portfolio for the Land Rover range in India includes the Range Rover (starting at INR 2.12 crores), Range Rover Sport (starting at INR 1.18 crores), Discovery 4 (starting at INR 1.11 crores), new Discovery Sport (starting at INR 47.59 Lakhs) and the 2016 Range Rover Evoque (starting at INR 48.60 Lakhs). All prices mentioned are ex–showroom, Mumbai.
