Interior Spyshots Of The Nexon Facelift Emerge

Tata Nexon, one of the hottest-selling sub 4-metre compact SUVs in the Indian market recently achieved a five million production milestone. This compact SUV which is known for its safety is now on its way to receiving a facelift. Camouflaged test mules of the facelifted Nexon have been spotted undergoing road tests multiple times.

Just the exterior design of the test mules was seen till now. But with the most recent spy shots, we’ve gotten our hands on the interior images of the facelifted Nexon. Here’s every detail about the new interior according to the spy shots.

Tata Nexon Facelift: Refreshed Interiors

  • New Curvv-Inspired Steering

The purple upholstery color is the first thing that catches your eye as you look at the interior spy shots. We can make out that the interior has borrowed many of its changes from the Curvv coupe SUV. And the coolest thing about its interiors is the two-spoke steering wheel inspired by the Curvv.

The steering gets a flat-bottom treatment with touch-sensitive controls on its seamless gloss black panel. Along with that, there are a few physical toggle switches as well. What also seems to have been carried forward from the Curvv Concept’s steering wheel is the seamless backlit Tata logo at the centre of the gloss black touch panel.

  • Centre Console

The centre console, which has been carried from the Curvv Concept, can also be seen clearly in most of the images. The biggest change here is the new touch panel for the air-con controls. The touch panel also gets two toggle switches.

The lower half of the centre console has remained largely unchanged as compared to the current Nexon’s design. It gets the same manual handbrake lever, the same drive mode selector dial, and a wireless charging pad. While the gear lever gets a slight change in its design, it’s not too different.

  • Tech Upgrades: New Touchscreen & Instrument Cluster

Other revisions will include the much-needed upgrades to the infotainment screen and instrument cluster as these are the most outdated bits in the current model’s interior. The new 10.25-inch touchscreen & 7-inch digital instrument screen seen in the Harrier & Safari’s Red Dark Editions will make their way into the facelifted Nexon. A 360-degree camera could also be part of the package.

We’ll be soon covering the details regarding the Nexon Facelift’s exterior looks and mechanicals.
