Sonalika Group’s International Cars & Motors Limited (ICML) has come up with an ambulance van variant of its Extreme MUV. The Extreme is basically a re-badged Rhino, which was re-launched exactly a year ago.
The ICML Extreme Ambulance will go on sale with two engine options and will have a base price of approx INR 6.15 lakhs, with the higher variant getting a price tag of INR 6.58 lakhs.
The Extreme Ambulance will be available in both AC and non AC variants. ICML claims that the Extreme Ambulance is the only ambulance van in the INR 4-8 lakkhs price bracket that is available with the option of an Aircon unit.
The ICML Exteme Ambulance will hit the dealerships sometime next month and will come factory fitted with ambulance-specific features such as such a stretcher, hook for the glucose bottle, siren, patient fan, et al.The Rhino, nay, the Extreme is 4.4m long, is 1.8m high has a wheelbase of 2.54m.
As we mentioned above, the Extreme Ambulance will go on sale with two engine options – a 2.0 litre CRDI motor with max power-torque of 120bhp-270Nm and a turbocharged 2.0 litres diesel motor with max power-torque of 100bhp-240Nm
