Buying an electric car is no longer just about battery range. For many people, the biggest question is whether they will easily find a charger during everyday drives or long road trips. Hyundai wants to make that part much simpler. The company has now expanded the charging support available through its myHyundai app, giving EV owners access to more than 30,000 charging points across the country.
The best part is that this service is not limited to Hyundai customers. Owners of electric vehicles from different brands can also use the app to find compatible charging stations, reserve a slot and make payments from one place.
Hyundai Expands EV Charging Access Across India
Hyundai has partnered with several Charge Point Operators and charging service providers to build one of the country’s biggest integrated charging networks.
Users can now:
- Find nearby charging stations
- Get navigation to the selected charger
- Book a charging slot before reaching
- Make digital payments through the app
- Access charging stations across India using one platform
According to Hyundai, charging points are available within an average distance of around 25 km across most parts of the country.
Major Highway Routes Covered
The charging network is also available on several busy highway stretches, making long distance travel easier for EV owners.
Some important routes include:
- Delhi, Gurgaon and Jaipur
- Mumbai, Pune and Bengaluru
- Mumbai, Ratnagiri and Goa
- Chennai, Vellore and Bengaluru
- Hyderabad, Kurnool and Bengaluru
Many charging stations are located close to restaurants and food outlets, allowing drivers to take a short break during charging.
Hyundai’s Own Fast Charging Network Will Grow
Apart from partner stations, Hyundai is also expanding its own DC fast charging infrastructure.

More Than Three Lakh EV Users Have Already Used The Network
Hyundai shared that over three lakh EV users have already charged their vehicles using its charging ecosystem.

- More than 50 lakh kWh of electricity delivered
- Data covers January 2023 to June 2026
- Around 3.5 million kg of CO2 emissions saved
These figures show that the charging network is already being used by a large number of EV owners across the country.
New EV Plans Continue
Hyundai currently sells electric models like the Creta Electric and Ioniq 5 in India. The company has also confirmed that a new mass market electric SUV will be introduced during the current financial year, adding another option to its growing EV lineup.
