Hyundai got its world acclaimed Santa Fe to go against the luxury crossovers priced around 30 lakhs but there was something missing in the between segment of 16 lakh – 20 lakh. Putting forth a competition to the Tata Aria, Chevrolet Captiva, Suzuki Grand Vitara; The Hyundai Stable is reviving the Tucson. Yes it’s true and the spy images tell us the whole story. No news from any of the company officials but we think it’s about time this one enters the market. The new Tucson was accompanied by a white Santa Fe and had Bhutan number plates tested in Kolkata.
There is some staunch similarity between the New Tucson and the BMW designs that because the New Tucson is designed by the by former BMW designer Thomas Buerkle at Hyundai’s Russelsheim design studio in Germany and continues the company’s styling language, marketed as “fluidic sculpture”
