That the Korean auto giant Hyundai is readying a Ford EcoSport adversary is a known fact and we’ve already reported in great detail about the upcoming Hyundai ix25 compact SUV. The Hyundai ix25 release date is fast nearing us and the new model will make its debut at the Beijing Motor Show next week. The Hyundai ix25 compact crossover was recently spotted testing in China, where the photographers managed to take a couple of quick snaps of the upcoming model’s interiors. These new Hyundai ix25 interiors images show undisguised dashboard and parts of the front seats.
It seems like the designers of the upcoming Hyundai ix25 interiors have looked at the bigger Santa Fe for inspiration and the dashboard of the soon to be revealed model mimics that of the full sized SUV in more ways than one. The center console features vertically designed AC vents that gets quite faux aluminum around it. The centre console also features a music system and auto air con controls.The test mule that has been spotted sports an automatic gearbox that has an all-black gearknob, which, again, looks much like the one on the new Santa Fe. The steering wheel too carries silver accent.
In all likelihood, the upcoming Hyundai ix25 will measure 4.25 meters in length, which means it won’t benefit from excise duty benefits that our Government provides to cars measuring less than four metres in length. The Hyundai ix25 will rival the Ford EcoSport, Honda Vezel, Peugeot 2008 and Nissan Juke in international markets.
