Under the hood, the 2011 Hyundai i10 gets a 1.2litre Kappa engine with variable valve timing (VTVT) producing 80PS @ 6,000 revs and 112 Nm @ 4,000 revs. The 1.2-litre engine can be had with a 5-speed manual of a 4-speed automatic transmission. The lower spec model of the 2011 Hyundai i10 can be had with a re-tuned version of the current 1.1-litre engine, which in the new model is called ‘iRDE2’. The engine is capable enough to produce 59 PS @ 5,500 revs with a torque output of 99Nm @ 4,500 revs.
