Hyundai Motor India Limited (HMIL), the country’s largest exporter and the second-largest car manufacturer, has received a great response for its newly launched Hyundai Grand i10 compact car. With over 110,000 enquiries and over 10,000 bookings within 20 days, the Grand i10 has been well accepted by customers as a value proposition.
Post the launch of Grand in the Indian market, Hyundai has experienced a 55% rise in footfalls at dealerships across all regions and most dealerships are recording multiple enquires and test drive requests. The car has received impressive with over 70,000 test drive bookings already.

Much of the Grand i10’s success has to do with its new U2 CRDi diesel engine, which offers decent performance and boasts of an ARAI certified fuel efficiency of 24 kmpl. The petrol variants of the Grand i10 are powered by the 1.2 litre Kappa petrol engine that sports Dual VTVT mechanism and has an ARAI certified fuel efficiency of 18.9 kmpl.
The Grand i10 comes with several segment unique features such as Rear A/C vents, integrated 2-DIN MP3 audio with in-built1GB memory, smart key with push button start and stop, bluetooth connectivity, multifunction steering wheel with bluetooth, audio and trip meter controls, auto folding outside mirrors with electric adjustment function, rear parking sensors, turn indicators on outside mirrors and a cooled glovebox.
