With the launch date inching closer, the leaked variant and feature list for the Hyundai Creta has surfaced on the cyberspace. We recently took the compact SUV for short spin and our first impressions can be found here. According to the leaked list, the Creta will be offered in 6 trims in total- Base, S, S+, SX, SX+ and SX(O). Lets take a look at the variant wise features :
Base: The base trim will be available only with the 1.6 liter petrol and 1.4 liter diesel engines. Features on the base trim include 16-inch wheels, ABS, full cloth seat upholstery, 2-DIN music system with CD/AUX/USB/iPod and 4 speakers, manual AC, rear AC vents, tilt steering, central locking, front and rear power windows and keyless entry with a foldable key. Full marks to Hyundai for providing ABS on the base trim. A single airbag should have been included in the safety equipment.
S: Similar to the base, the S trim will also be offered with the 1.6 liter petrol and 1.4 liter diesel engines. Additional features over the Base trim include foglights, rear defogger, 5-inch touchscreen audio system with Bluetooth, steering mounted controls, silver skid plates at the front and rear, , electrically adjustable ORVMs and height adjustable driver seat.
S+: This trim will be offered only with the 1.4-liter diesel engine. Features over the S trim include 16-inch alloy wheels, dual airbags, rear parking camera and sensors, and an AVN system with a shark fin antenna.
SX: This trim will be offered only with the 1.6-liter diesel engine. Features over the S trim include dual airbags, 16-inch alloys, rear parking sensors, projector headlights with static bending lights and LED position lights, electric folding wing mirrors, automatic climate control and rear wiper and washer.
SX+: This trim will be available only with the 1.6 liter petrol and 1.6 liter diesel. People looking to give rest to their left leg can also opt for the 1.6 diesel with a 6 speed AT. Features over the SX include rear parking camera, smart entry with push button start and chrome door handles.
SX (O): This trim will be offered with the 1.6 liter diesel mill only. Features over the SX trim include 17-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels, ESC, VSM, HAC, side and curtain airbags, chrome door handles, supervision cluster, leather pack, 7-inch touchscreen AVN system, smart entry with push button start and rear parking camera.
