Honda Mobilio RS, a premium version of company’s Mobilio MPV, was launched in Indonesia last month. Now, Honda India is likely to launch the Mobilio RS in India soon. The RS gets additional components on the outside as well as on the inside over the top end of Mobilio, Prestige version.
On the outside, the RS gets a range of equipments starting from sporty front and rear bumpers, Aero Body Kit, roof mounted spoiler, twin-slat chrome grille, chrome exhaust finisher and specially designed 15-inch alloy wheels. What’s special is the LED projector headlight with light guide which is first in the segment. Honda offers the Mobilio RS in seven color options in Indonesia – Carnelian Red Pearl, Crystal Black Pearl, Alabaster Silver Metallic, Modern Steel Metallic, White Orchid Pearl, Brilliant Gold Metallic and Bronze Metallic Ionized. These colours are expected to be retained for Indian market as well.
Inside the cabin, the Mobilio gets full black finish with silver accents for AC vents and internal door handles. A 6.1-inch color screen in the centre console for audio system, reverse parking camera, multi-function steering wheel and speed sensing auto central lock adds to the premium feel of the vehicle.
The Mobilio RS will be a cosmetic upgrade only and will not receive any engine changes.
The new Honda Mobilio RS is going to be priced higher than the standard version given the addition of the overall components.
