About Honda Shine 100

The design of the Honda Shine 100 resembles its 125cc sibling. However, this bike is a bit scaled-down version of the Shine 125 and features 168mm of ground clearance. Honda has equipped the Shine 100 with a front cowl, black alloys, an aluminium grab rail and a sleek muffler. The colour options include Black colour with the option of red stripes, blue stripes, gold stripes and grey stripes.

Honda offers a special package of a 3-year standard warranty. However, the customers can also opt for an extended warranty of 3 years. The bike has a short 1.9m turning radius, 786mm seat height and CBS brakes with an equalizer. Furthermore, Honda offers the Shine 100 with a side-stand engine cut-off feature which helps to conserve fuel.

The 100cc powertrain of Honda Shine

Honda’s Shine 100 is available with 1 powertrain option which complies with the new OBD technology. Now, the updated powertrain is ready to meet the latest emission norms. Mechanically, this bike is powered by a 100cc 4-stroke PGM-Fi petrol engine which makes 5.43kW of power and 8.05nm of torque.

The new Honda Shine 100 comes with Enhanced Smart Power (eSP) technology. This technology is introduced to ensure more fuel combustion with less friction. Honda claims that this technology optimizes the energy output and ensures lower NVH levels of the engine.

Pricing and the Competition

Honda has priced the Shine 100 at Rs. 62,900 Ex-showroom Rajasthan. And this bike continues to compete with CD110 and Livo in the market.
