While the new generation 2015 Honda Jazz Shuttle is expected to break cover very soon, the patent sketches of this upcoming station wagon have surfaced over the internet courtesy jokeforblog. These leaked images reveal that the upcoming Jazz Shuttle will feature a completely new body work and, similar to its previous generation model, will share its design philosophy with the Honda Jazz premium hatchback.
The biggest change over the new Jazz, as indicated by the leaked images, is the addition of a full LED headlight which seem to be inspired by Honda’s recently showcased Acura NSX. Compared to the 2015 Honda Jazz, the station wagon receives a slightly different front and rear bumper. The side bumper and the character lines, however, stay similar to the ones found on the 2015 Honda Jazz. The wheelbase will also be much longer than the outgoing model but we are not sure whether the extended space will be utilised for the third row or to accommodate extra luggage. And although it will be too soon to comment, we would stick out our necks and say that Honda will equip the Jazz Shuttle with better and premium interiors.
Reports suggest that the Honda Jazz Shuttle will most likely be powered by a 1.5 litre, SOHC i-VTEC engine which will be mated to an all-new seven-speed dual-clutch gearbox along with a five speed manual box. The chances of this station wagon coming to India are rare but if it does, a four-member family who travels a lot will definitely enjoy the extra space. Would you like to buy the Honda Jazz Shuttle?
