We have been constantly bringing you all the updates on the Honda CB300F- the naked variant of the Honda CBR300R. Earlier we did grab hold of patent images of Honda’s 300cc street bike, but now what we see are probably the first official images of the 2015 Honda CB300F.
The 2015 Honda CB300F as aforesaid is basically a stripped down CBR300R and sans the fairing and other bits of plastics are from the CBR250R/300R mould. Being street oriented, the CBR300F sports conventional tube handlebars in an upright position to aid a more comfortable riding position. The rearsets have been retained at the same position and the seat too doesn’t seem to have undergone any changes.
Powering the Honda CB300F would be the CBR300R’s motor displacing 286cc producing max power of 30.8 ps @ 8500 rpm and 27.1 nm of peak torque. With lesser plastics on board, expect the pricing to be slightly south of the CBR300R’s price.
The Honda CBR300R is slated for an India launch this year end, and we expect that Honda should bring the CB300F to India post the US launch.
