Honda recently teased the new Activa 7G. The teaser only shows the front of the scooter which has a design similar to the current Activa 6G. The last iteration of Activa was launched in 2020 which went through many cosmic and technical changes like the addition of an external fuel cap. Activa has been by far the most loved scooter in Inda and Honda is ready with yet another update to make the scooter even more desirable.

Honda is known to keep up with the latest trends and tech with every new generation of Activa. Similarly, this 2022 Activa 7G will feature updated tech and design. The addition of features like Bluetooth, fully digital instrumentation with SMS, and call alerts are expected to make their debut in the Activa 7G. Other technical changes could include a front disc brake and alloy wheels. The Current Activa 6G comes with a combined braking system and drum breaks for both front and rear. The scooter is also equipped with telescopic suspension, an engine starts/stop switch, an external fuel lid easily accessible by the integrated dual function switch, and a bigger 12-inch front wheel.

Activa 6G gets the power from Honda’s 110cc PGM-FI HET (Honda Eco Technology) engine with a unique Honda ACG starter for a Silent Start. The engine produces 7.68 bhp and 8.79 nm of torque. We expect the 7G to get the same engine with some minor tweaks to make it more fuel efficient. Honda launched the Activa 6G on the occasion of 20 years anniversary and it came with a 20th-year anniversary logo in golden finish. Activa 6G is available in added colors including Matte Mature Brown and Pearl Nighstar Black with matching rear grab-rails. It also comes with stripes on the front adding to the visual drama and making the Activa 6G stand out in the crowd.

The 20th Anniversary edition of Activa 6G is available in 2 variants standard and Deluxe. The Activa 7G is said to be priced slightly higher than the current version. The Activa 6G comes with a starting price of ₹72,400 for the standard variant which ranges to ₹74,400 (ex. showroom) for the Deluxe variant. For the new Activa, we can expect ₹4000-5000 added to the price tag. Once launched, the new Activa will be ready to compete with its rivals like the TVS Jupiter.
