For many electric scooter buyers, charging is just as important as the range. Some prefer taking the battery out and charging it at home, while others want to park the scooter and plug it into a socket. Hero MotoCorp’s Vida brand has now added another option to the VX2 range with the new VX2 Go FB.
The new electric scooter gets a fixed battery and is priced at Rs 1.13 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). Sales will start through authorised Vida dealerships from early August 2026.
Vida VX2 Go FB: Battery And Range
The biggest change is the battery setup. The VX2 Go FB uses a 3.1kWh fixed battery instead of the removable battery packs available on other VX2 versions.
It has a claimed IDC range of 128km on a full charge. This puts it between the 2.2kWh and 3.4kWh versions of the VX2 Go.
| Vida VX2 Variant | Battery | IDC Range |
| VX2 Go | 2.2kWh | 93km |
| VX2 Go FB | 3.1kWh Fixed | 128km |
| VX2 Go | 3.4kWh | 146km |
| VX2 Plus | 3.4kWh | 146km |
| VX2 Plus | 4.4kWh | 187km |
The scooter can also use DC fast charging. Vida says the battery can go from 0 to 80 percent in 65 minutes. Customers can also access more than 5,900 fast charging stations across the country.
Motor And Features
Power comes from a 6kW swingarm-mounted electric motor. The claimed top speed is 70kmph, which is the same as the other VX2 Go versions.
Some of the main features include:
- 4.3-inch LCD instrument cluster
- Smartphone connectivity
- Turn-by-turn navigation
- Vida Edge app support
- OTA updates
- Reverse parking function
- 27.2-litre under-seat storage
- Frunk storage
- Eco and Ride modes
The connected functions also provide battery information, charging station locations and service-related features. The app can send alerts related to events such as a fall, accident or theft.
Five VX2 Variants Now
With the addition of the fixed-battery model, the Vida VX2 range now has five variants and four battery sizes. The largest 4.4kWh battery offers a claimed 187km range, while the smallest 2.2kWh unit offers 93km.
Hero Vida VX2 Go FB launched at Rs 1.13 lakh with a 3.1kWh fixed battery, 128km range, 6kW motor and 65-minute fast charging.
