These five products, are essentially upgrades of the current models and include the new Karizma, new Karizma ZMR, Pleasure, CBZ Xtreme and the Splendor ismart featuring the stop/start technology.

This exercise has virtually refreshed the entire product range of Hero Motocorp on sale in India. “Innovation, technology, youth and speed are the key buzzwords at the new Hero. It has just been two years since we commenced our solo journey and in such a short time, we have made significant upgradation of our existing line-up, incorporating next generation technology and features,” Pawan Munjal, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, Hero MotoCorp, said during the launch.

The new range of refreshed models includes the new Splendor iSmart with i3S tecnhology (acronym for idle stop and start system), Pleasure scooter now gets an integrated braking system like the Honda CBS and  the new 150cc Xtreme gets an electronic immobilizer. The Karizma and ZMR also gets refreshed, with a twin projector headlamp setup. Inspired with the EBR racing motorcycles, the bike may also go for some more powerful engines from the EBR family. More details about the new ZMR can be found here.

In the commuter segment, the 100cc HF Dawn and HF Deluxe will get side stand indicator and clear lens blinkers as new features.

We are currently at the press conference in Delhi, and will keep updating this post with more images and details. Stay tuned.

  1. Looks ridiculous! I dont understand how this design got approvals….

They ruined a bike which was quite good looking. Seems hero has lost the charm once it split with Honda.
