Hero MotoCorp has quietly launched its new Duet scooter in the South Indian market. The new scooter was recently showcased alongside the Maestro Edge scoot in New Delhi. The Duet has been priced at Rs. 48,400 for the LX version and Rs. 49,900for the VX version – both prices are ex-showroom Bangalore.
Hero MotoCorp claims that the Duet has been built on a completely new engine and chassis platform. The new scooter featuring a 110cc engine comes with metal body, to create a sturdy and durable image for its target customers.
The 110-cc air-cooled, 4-stroke single cylinder OHC engine on the Duet produces a maximum power output of 8.31 BHP @8000 RPM and maximum torque of 8.3 Nm @ 6500 RPM. Fuel efficiency has been officially rated at 63.8 km/litre.

The Duet is available in six colours – Candy Blazing Red, Pearl Silver White, Grace Grey, Matte Nature Green, Panther Black and Vernier Grey (Non-metallic).
