Hero MotoCorp (erstwhile Hero Honda), India’s selling bike maker by volumes, recently revealed its official exhibit plans for the fast approaching Auto Expo 2014, which will be held at India Expo Mart in Greater Noida early next month. Along with the models that are currently on sale, Hero MotoCorp at Auto Expo 2014 would also showcase the the new RNT diesel electric hybrid scooter concept, a pre-production model of Leap scooter, the new HX250R 250cc sports bike, Dash 110cc scooter and an updated Hero Xtreme 150cc motorcycle.

Hero HX250R 250cc motorcycle
The recently revealed HX250R sportsbike will also greet us at the upcoming motor show. The bike has been co-developed with EBR and is powered by a 249cc single cylinder liquid cooled engine that has a max power of 31hp. The manufacturer claims that the bike can accelerate from standstill to 60kph in 2.7 seconds. The bike will come fitted with ABS and will haev an under-seat exhaust and single shock rear suspension.
Hero Xtreme Sports
The updated Xtreme 150cc bike will be now sold under the Sports moniker and would have a higher max power of 15.2bhp. The bike gets semi-digi speedo console and reservoir suspension at the rear.
RNT diesel-electric scooter concept
The recently revealed new RNT diesel-electric concept is powered by a liquid cooled 4 stroke turbocharged 150cc diesel engine that has a max power of 13.5hp and peak torque of 35Nm. The electric motor brings in another 1KW of power, which is transferred to the front wheel. Hero says that the scooter is capable of a top speed of 70 kmph and can dismiss 60kph from standstill in just 5 seconds.
Leap electric hybrid scooter
The new Hero Leap, which was first showcased at the last Auto Expo, has reached pre-production stages and could be loat in the second half of this year. Powering the Leap scooter is an 8KW electric motor and a 124cc petrol engine. The bike could have a range of upto 340kms and would weigh 140kgs.
Hero Dash scooter
The Hero Dash could be laucnehd early next year ans is powered by an 111cc air-cooled 4-stroke petrol engine that has a max power of 6.3KW and peak torque of 9.4Nm.
