Disney India’s Consumer Products business and Hero Cycles Limited today announced the arrival of a range of Disney and Marvel inspired bicycles for kids aged 3-12 years.
As part of the licensing agreement signed between Disney and Hero Cycles Limited the Company will make bicycles available in over 100 premium distributors including leading sports and toy stores across the country at a starting price of INR 3400.
“Cycles are the first medium through which a child gets to feel the road. We strongly believe that introducing character inspired cycles will make cycling a pleasurable and joyous experience for kids,” said, Pankaj Munjal, the Managing Director of Hero Cycles.
“Our stories personify values that kids love and parents trust. Today’s kids have an opinion of their own and it’s important for us to provide play options to the younger fans that are inspired by the characters they are growing up with. With this licensing deal, Disney and Marvel inspired range of bicycles will be available for our fans across India”, said Roshini Bakshi, VP and head of Consumer Products, Retail, Publishing & Franchise Marketing, Disney India
The range features an array of popular Disney franchises like Mickey & Friends, Disney Princesses, Disney.Pixar Cars and Marvel’s Spider-Man. Key models include Mickey & Friends 12”, Mickey & Friends 14”, Disney Princess 12”, Disney Pixar Cars 16” and Marvel Ultimate Spider-Man 20”.
