The Motorsports fans of Mumbai will get an opportunity to showcase their skills yet again, with the annual ‘Gulf Foster A Child Rally’ presented by Gulf Oil Corporation in association with Sportscraft and scheduled on Sunday the 31st of January, 2010. The event in its seventh year now will provide underprivileged children an opportunity to enjoy a drive though the streets of Mumbai and will be an ideal test for the participants in the basics of driving. The event is a combination of quiz and navigational drive where the driver and his crew have to decipher a tulip chart that will be provided at the start of the drive and will also have to provide with answers to the question presented at various pit-stops.
If speed is on your mind, then forget about entering, because this form of motorsport needs patience, the finer skills in concentration and the ability to follow a maze of directions plotted in the course charted out. All Indian-made vehicles are eligible. Each will have an orphan child or two as part of the crew. A maximum of 50 entries on first-come basis will be accepted.
