Yep, you didn’t read it wrong, it’s true! Sony PlayStation Blog has confirmed that Gran Turismo 5 will NOT be released on November 2nd in a global delay. The concept which was unveiled way back in 2006 and the long wait so far, has already made some fans suicidal. Maybe this new development will kill them.
The PS Blog states, “We sincerely apologize to GT fans for the delay, however, creator Kazunori Yamauchi and the team at Polyphony Digital want to make certain they are creating the perfect racing experience, and we are confident that this ambitious game will exceed expectations when it launches. We’ll have more information for you in the near future, but said that it will com coming this holiday season.” And the ‘holiday season’ could very well mean, early 2011.
Well anyway, here’s something which might help you, calm that temper. You can build your own race course out of thin air while driving sim Gran Turismo 5 and then go race on it! This feature allows you to pick and combine routes from certain stages, you can choose a time of the day, set the weather, the stage points, etc. Watch the video below, to see how it’s really done.
