Japanese car giant Toyota has unveiled the new 2014 Toyota Aygo at the ongoing Geneva Motor Show 2014.

The new Aygo shares its platform with the Citroen C1 and the Peugeot 108. The 2014 Toyota Aygo is powered by a three-cylinder 998 cc 4-valve DOHC petrol engine that has a max power of 69 hp @ 6,000 rpm and peak torque of 95 Nm @ 4,300 rpm. The new 2014 Toyota Aygo is available in three variants – Aygo (std), Aygo X-shift, Aygo Eco Version. While the standard variant of the Aygo comes equipped with a 5 speed manual transmission and the Aygo x-shift boasts of an Automated Manual Transmission that can be operated using steering mounted paddle-shifters. The Eco version boasts of a taller 4th and 5th gear for additional fuel economy.
Talking about the safely features on offer, the new 2014 Toyota Aygo comes equipped with ABS, EBD, VSC (Vehicle Stability Control), Curtain airbags, Isofix seat attachment, Tyre pressure monitoring system, adjustable speed limiter and hill-start assist control with emergency braking signalling, all as a part of the standard equipment!
